This training is your chance to take part in preparations to bring the World Record Peace Mandala to Japan and make history! As a matter of fact, your participation and attendance is crucial to the success of our delegation! The schedule below is designed for and will take place at our CompaSS Center in Anaheim, California. For those who are NOT near Southern California, please contact your Regional Sangha Lead for information on training sessions in your area.
Training Goals:
- Building a strong foundation of samadhi
- Deepening your awareness of the Japanese culture
- Broadening your understanding of the teaching for the delegation

A fantastic supplement for those who have been to monthly Bodhisattva Path classes.
This weekly 2-hour gathering is designed for those who wish to stay up-to-date with the current teachings and group practice. Our aim is to build the core strength of collective cultivation and deep understanding of the practice and application of our understanding. It’s also a great way to support fellow practitioners and is open to everyone who has some knowledge on 6-hands & eyes practice.

Monthly dharma classes where attendees can learn about the basics of Avatamsaka Sutra teaching and applications.
A great way for those who are in the Japan Delegation to become familiar with the way of CompaSS Sangha.
These 2-day classes occur every last Saturday-Sunday of each month and run from 7 am – 3 pm each day. Minimal fee for facility usage includes the latest of Integral Tai Chi practices, lunch, and group discussions to help us broaden our understanding.
Location: CompaSS Holistic Wellness Center
Open to everyone. No experience required. Fee: $40 (early registration). Attendance will be taken for credit.

Comprehensive training sessions designed specifically for those who are already a part (or on the waiting list) for the delegation going to Japan in October but open to everyone as it is a great way for those interested to learn the way of the CompaSS Sangha.
Topics that will be covered include: deportment training, meditation practice, chanting practice, Japanese culture, what-to-expect for October, and more. Additional dates have been added to accommodate your schedule and to lighten the load of information each session. Each session builds upon the previous one so it is mandatory for both Temporary Novice Sangha and Volunteers to attend AT LEAST 3 workshops in order to be able to well-prepared and get full-credit.

Weekend Seclusion Retreats at Sage Center (Nhập Thất tại Tạo Hiền Sơn Trang – Murrietta, California) are the truest way to experience (mentally, physically, spiritually) the deeper meaning of being part of the delegation going to Japan in October. Space is extremely limited for each session so RSVP your spot early! First-come-first-served basis.
- Each weekend session starts on Friday @7 pm and runs through Sunday @5 pm.
- Fee: $40 (Cash, Checks, Money Order are accepted.)
- Mandatory for both Temporary Novice Sangha and Volunteers to attend AT LEAST 1 seclusion retreat. Attendance will be taken for full credit.

The best opportunity for our delegation to convene, to rehearse, and to synchronize before our delegation makes our first international appearance in Japan!
